Method
Prepare the Rolls: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Make diagonal cuts in each roll to form an “X,” being careful not to cut all the way through, so the roll stays intact.
Add the Cheese: Place the rolls in an oven-safe pan or baking dish and tuck shredded cheese into the cuts you’ve made.
Mix the Topping: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and chopped parsley. Mix well.
Apply the Topping: Generously brush this flavourful mixture over the tops and sides of the rolls to ensure good coverage for maximum flavour.
Bake: Put the rolls in the oven and bake for about 8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
Serve: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with additional grated parmesan if desired. Serve immediately while warm and melty.
